Launching 2027. Founding members get early access and launch pricing.
Coming to the app you already use
The 2028 changes, in plain English.
- AlreadyCorporation tax needs software
HMRC's free online corporation tax filing has closed.
- Nov 2026Directors verify their identity
Without it, your company can't file.
- 1 Apr 2028Software-only accounts
Free WebFiling and paper filing for accounts close.
- 1 Apr 2028Profit and loss for small companies
Micro and small companies must file one. Abridged accounts end.
Late accounts cost £150 to £1,500, and double if you're late two years running. Surge tracks every deadline for you.
Your yearly filings, handled. Without the spreadsheets.
Reads your statements
A bank export or PDF is best; photos of receipts are fine too. Dormant? Just say so.
Checks every number
Your totals must match your bank to the penny, and last year's filed accounts. Anything odd is flagged, never guessed.
Asks only what it must
Dividends taken? Money owed at year end? A couple of one-tap questions, not a form.
Nothing filed without you
A plain-English summary of income, costs, profit and tax. You approve, then it's filed.
Accounts and corporation tax
Accounts to Companies House, the corporation tax return to HMRC, from the same figures.
Never late again
Accounts, confirmation statement and tax deadlines tracked, with a reminder before each one.
When is yours due? Check in ten seconds.
Uses public Companies House data. No documents, no sign-up.

Good questions. Straight answers.
Is it allowed to use AI for company accounts?
Yes. Nothing stops you using software, including AI, to prepare your accounts. What matters is that the figures are right and the director approves them. That's how Surge works: it prepares and checks, and you approve before anything is filed.
Who submits the accounts?
You do, with one tap. Surge prepares everything and files it through approved filing software once you approve. As director, you stay responsible for your company's accounts, as with any software or accountant.
What do I need to give you?
Your company number, your company authentication code (Companies House posts it to your registered office) and your bank statements for the year. Dormant companies need even less.
Does it do corporation tax too?
Yes, for simple companies: the corporation tax return to HMRC, from the same figures. You'll see what you owe before anything is sent.
Is my data safe?
Your documents are encrypted, hosted in the UK/EU, not read by our staff unless you ask for help, and deleted after filing. We keep only what the law requires, such as identity checks.
What if my company is more complex?
If you have staff, VAT, stock or investors, Surge will tell you honestly and point you to an accountant rather than guess.
How is this different from other corporation tax software?
Most filing software expects you to bring the finished figures. Surge works them out from your bank statements, checks every total against your bank, asks only what it can't tell, and files once you approve.
Can I talk to a real person?
Yes. Message us any time and a real person replies, usually within a working day.
When does it launch?
In 2027, well before the April 2028 change. People on the waiting list get access first, at founding-member prices.
Get it sorted before 2028.
